Acupuncture

Chinese medicine considers illness as a disharmony that affects the energy system of the person, which is influenced by external and internal factors. Throughout the body there are energy channels or meridians through which the vital energy flows. If this flow is interrupted, illness occurs.

Acupuncture is one of the techniques used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is based on the stimulation of certain points of the body, located in the meridians, through the insertion of needles or the application of heat, in order to balance the energy flow and restore health.
Other techniques used in Chinese medicine are Moxibustion, Auriculopuncture or Cupping.
